Saturday Ride - Bike Library start

Spring Cleaning Ride with the Bike Library
Start: Iowa City Bike Library

BIC members - here is your chance to donate old or unused bikes or bike equipment/accessories to the Iowa City Bike Library! And a chance to reclaim garage space for new bike stuff...truth be told the Bike Library will accept donations any time.

The event starts at 10:00, with the actual ride starting at 10:30, from the Bike Library to Big Grove in Solon.

Donations accepted:

  • All bikes & bike parts, no matter their condition or quality (cracked rims are okay)
  • Damaged parts or those parts that cannot be re-used or re-purposed will be taken to scrap recycling

No chemical cleaners, paints, or similar toxic items can be donated.

Additional parking is available at the University lot 36, across the street from the bike library. The lot is for UI facility maintenance, but is open to the public on non-business hours.
